One of the coolest things we have in Nevada is Mt. Charleston. During the fall/winter it's one of the nicest places to get away. Everyone living in Las Vegas needs to get away every once in a while. Away from the lights, the 24 hour lifestyle, and of course the tourists. One thing I plan on doing this winter is renting a cabin for a day or two with friends and enjoy the fresh air with some smores and hot cocoa.
Ohhh... you hit on a nerve. Spending a few days in a cabin on Mt. Charleston has been on my bucket list for some time. Can't wait to hear more (as in, can I afford it).
ReplyDeleteI completely agree. I have not done it yet, but I know many of friends that have, and it has got to be great. Most people dont realize how wonderful it is to get back to nature, even if it is just getting away from the city, and being surrounded by trees and mother nature.
